Bradford Marine, Grand Bahama, in conjunction with the Grand Bahama Divers Association is happy to announce plans to add to our already well developed artificial reef program. On June 12th, plans are made to sink the tugboat ‘La Rose’ in eighty feet of water east of Bell Channel off the South Shore of Grand Bahama. The sinking is scheduled for early afternoon. After the wreck is confirmed in place there will be a reception on the property of UNEXSO. Grand Bahama Divers Association members will be taking reservations to dive on ‘La Rose’ starting the following day.

‘La Rose’ will join a long list of boats and ships intentionally sunk to create artificial reef structures. The GBDA is charged with protecting the beautiful reefs surrounding Grand Bahama. By giving divers yet another exciting place to visit the member companies of the Grand Bahama Divers Association can continue to take scuba divers to a variety of fascinating dive sites.
